The banana is a very ancient fruit, whose origins date back to 5000 .C. in New Guinea.
The first written testimony of this fruit dates back to 600 .C. from some Buddhist texts.
In the following years the banana spread by ship to India, Africa and Central and South America.
We import LOLA bananas from Costa Rica, the country of the sweetest banana.
